Newcrest launches partnership with WORK180

Working together on Newcrest’s new partnership with WORK180

Newcrest is proud to become a WORK180 Endorsed Employer, launching our new partnership this week as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations.

WORK180 is a global platform which provides women and other minorities job seekers with a directory of employers genuinely committed to driving equality, along with available job opportunities.

“By becoming a WORK180 Endorsed Employer, we are signalling to potential employees that we take our commitment to diversity and inclusion seriously. The process for becoming a WORK180 partner is stringent, with accepted companies having to prove their credentials in areas around diversity and inclusion,” said Newcrest Principal - Diversity & Inclusion Giulia Savio.

By partnering with WORK180 other major companies in the mining industry have – for example - increased the number of women hired from 10% to 50% in 18 months.

While job hunters are using WORK180 to source roles with companies who have values aligned to their own, WORK180 is also supplying valuable resources to their partner companies.

“Our partnership with WORK180 will provide us with additional guidance on best practice diversity and inclusion policies and initiatives; branding opportunities; and access to the WORK180 job board and talent attraction of high-quality female applicants with a reach to five million plus women per month in Australia alone,” said Giulia.

Newcrest’s partnership with WORK180 is in line with our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
